The weather forecast was correct: Wednesday dawned overcast and cooler so rather than heading to Kynance Cove we jumped in the car and went to Marazion. For once the tides were right so we walked across to St Michael's Mount, took a turn around the quayside and then the girls had a hot chocolate at The Godolphin Arms while I took an opportunity to potter around the galleries. I've been to Marazion before, in fact I looked at a rental property here, but have never stopped to browse.
Heading back across the causeway, which was covered by seawater just forty five minutes later.

As predicted, the weather started to improve slightly so it was back into the car and slightly back up the coast to Praa Sands for a picnic and an afternoon of watching the surfers.
Once again we hadn't left room for ice-creams but we did manage dinner back at Peninnis.
